Iberia named yesterday as ‘Plácido Domingo’ its first Airbus A350 aircraft, in an event held in Madrid which was attended by the Spanish tenor, the president of IAG, Antonio Vázquez, and the CEO of Iberia, Luis Gallego, among others.
The ‘Plácido Domingo’ is the first of an order of 16 aircraft offering 348 seats: 31 in Business class, 24 in its new Premium Tourist cabin and 293 in Economy class. It is a state-of-the-art model that is equipped with the most modern technology and designed to be more efficient and respectful with the environment, since it consumes 25% less fuel and emits less CO2.
