Spain, along with Portugal and France, yesterday announced its availability to receive each 50 people from the group of 450 immigrants rescued by Italy last Saturday in the Mediterranean and who are aboard a ship of the Italian Financial Guard and another of the Frontex agency.
This availability is conditional on that group of immigrants disembarking in Italy and for Italy to accept equally host a part of them. Each country will examine case by case which people will be accepted.
