The Spanish Embassy in Haiti closed its doors yesterday after the riots that took place during the weekend in some areas of the country and, especially, in Port-au-Prince, its capital.
The diplomatic legation informed through its official Twitter account of the measure adopted and recommended avoiding any type of move in the country. It is possible that the reopening takes place today.
The calm came to the capital on Sunday, although the situation was still tense. Furthermore, the Spanish Embassy shared the emergency telephone for Spaniards living in this Caribbean country.
