Bulgaria considers that the recognition of Kosovo as a state would help to strengthen democracy and stabilize governmen in this country, at the same time that would benefit all the countries of the Western Balkans, said Bulgarian Ambassador to Spain, Ivan Kondov, during an organized colloquium-meeting by Paneuropa Juventud.
Kondov made a positive assessment of the semester in which Bulgaria held the Presidency of the European Union, despite crises such as those of ‘Brexit’ or immigration, according to Paneuropa sources. In that report, Kondov included the declaration of support for the Western Balkans, signed during the summit held in May in Sofia, the progress made to improve the integration of the EU and the regulations approved to boost the digital economy.
