Spanish Government congratulated the new President of Mali, Ibrahim Boubacar Keïta, after his victory in the presidential election last August 12 and wished him «success» in the «definitive restoration of institutional normality and national reconstruction», as points out a Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ statement.
The Executive also welcomes «progress in terms of organization and transparency» in the election held in the African country «despite the limitations of the security context».
