Moncloa Palace will open its doors to citizens from September

The Diplomat. 21/08/2018

The Presidency of the Spanish Government has launched the program «Open Moncloa», which, starting in September, will allow any citizen to visit some of the facilities of the Moncloa Palace, such as the Meeting Room of the Council of Ministers or the Press Room, and the gardens of the complex. Until now the visits were limited to groups of schoolchildren or university students.

To participate in the visits, which will have a limited capacity and will be held once a week, it will be necessary to make a prior reservation through a form that will soon be available on the website www.lamoncloa.gob.es. With the initiative, the Executive of Pedro Sánchez tries to respond to the will of a society that claims naturalness, proximity and transparency, according to a note released by Moncloa.
