Gibraltar Customs Service collaborated with the Spanish authorities in the operation that led to the interception last Sunday in Ibiza of a yacht with 300 kilos of Colombian cocaine and that has registration of the Rock, as reported yesterday in a note by the Government of Gibraltar. In the operation the five crew members were arrested, four of Dutch nationality and one German.
The note indicates that the Customs Service had monitored the vessel and the crew members «since their last visit to Gibraltar in July 2017», and adds that investigations continue to verify that there are no other local ties with the organization.
