NATO Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg, telephoned Estonian Prime Minister, Jüri Ratas, yesterday after a Spanish Eurofighter accidentally fired a missile into its airspace during a training exercise, according to a statement released by the Alliance spokesman, Piers Cazalet.
Stoltenberg apologized to Ratas and offered him help to investigate the shooting of the Spanish Eurofighter, which occurred last Tuesday, in a regular exercise of the planes in the framework of the Baltic Air Police operation.
