The director, until recently, for North America, Asia and the Pacific, Fidel Sendagorta, has joined the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, at the Kennedy School of Harvard University, The Diplomat learnt.
Sendagorta, who was relieved on July 27 by Ana Sálomon, will participate over the next twelve months in lectures, conferences and research at the Belfere Center, a prestigious Harvard University institution currently headed by Ashton Carter, who was Secretary of Defense with Barack Obama.
The Belfer Center focuses its research and studies on carrying out analyzes and reports on issues of international policy, diplomacy, environment and security, among others, and has the participation of outstanding professionals from different countries.
Fidel Sendagorta had been managing director for three years, having been president of the Spain-United States Council Foundation, Spain’s ambassador to Egypt, and general director for the Mediterranean, the Maghreb and the Middle East.
