Government recalls Diplocat must limit itself to regional competences

Spanish Government recalls that Catalonia’s Diplocat public diplomacy consortium, recently reactivated by the Generalitat, «should limit itself to autonomic competences as indicated in the Spanish Constitution«. This is stated in response to a parliamentary question posed by Ciudadanos.

The Executive adds that «it sees with respect the decision of the Generalitat to create an entity to promote its image» and «expects» that the Generalitat will act within the framework of the Law of Foreign Action of the State.
