Gibraltar’s Chief Minister, Fabian Picardo, said yesterday, during his speech at a summer course of Cadiz University, in San Roque, he «trust» to reach agreements with the new PSOE Government in Spain. He also expressed he wish Sanchez do follow the path of Rajoy on sovereignty.
Picardo, who was very critical with former Foreign Minister José Manuel García-Margallo (PP), praised the Trilateral Dialogue Forum set up when José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero ruled and said that the region and Gibraltar «is geographically in a strategic and privileged place and that is why we must stop tu damage ourselves with ideas that will never solve our needs».
