The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Josep Borrell, met yesterday, at Palacio de Viana, with his Ecuadorian colleague, José Valencia, who is in Madrid accompanying the president of Ecuador, Lenin Moreno, in his visit to Spain.
According to the Embassy of Ecuador, at the meeting both ministers spoke of the efforts of Spain to achieve the elimination of the visa for Ecuadorians in Schengen EU’s area, as well as a future visit to Quito by the Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, with whom Lenín Moreno will meet today.
