Dominican Ambassador to Spain, Olivo Rodríguez Huertas, conferred the Order of Police Merit, in its First Class and with green badge, to three high-rank officers of the Spanish Civil Guard for their collaboration with the National Police (PN) of the Dominican Republic.
The honorees are Brigadier General Pedro Garrido Roca and Lieutenant Colonels Juan Salom Clotet and Alfonso de Miguel Yanes, according to a statement (in Spanish) sent to The Diplomat.
As he delivered the medals, Ambassador Rodríguez Huertas explained that these decorations are due «to the unbounded cooperation that these officers have given to our National Police in the fight against organized crime in its different modalities; especially cyber crime».
