Teatro Circo Price presents English-Bangladeshi choreographer and dancer Akram Khan with his show ‘Until the Lions’, next 19th, 20th and 21st of this month.
Akram Khan has been moving around Europe for years with his particular style of dancing in which he mixes kathak with contemporary dance. In ‘Until the Lions’ revisits the Indian epic poem Mahabharata to tell throughout the dance -although with a very theatrical construction- an epic story. For this creation, conceived for a circular space such as the Teatro Circo Price, Khan has surrounded himself with three dancers, two singers and two musicians.
