African cinema at Sala Berlanga of Madrid (53 Andrés Mellado Street) with the VI edition of Women are cinema, a series organized by the Women for Africa Foundation in collaboration with the SGAE Foundation, which is taking place from today until July 13 at 19:30 hrs.
This exhibition claims the role of women within the African audiovisual genre through the screening of five films made by female directors from this continent: I Am Not a Witch by Rungano Nyoni, Aala Kaf Ifrit by Kaouther Ben Hania, High Fantasy by Jenna Bass, Les bienheureux by Sofía Djama and Frontières by Apolline Traoré.
