La Royal Glass Factory of La Granja (1 Paseo Pocillo, 1, La Granja de S. Ildefonso, Segovia) exhibits, until September 30, the exhibition Handmade Dreams: Bohemian glass jewelry, which offers an intensive journey through the many studios and factories that continue the art tradition of several centuries typical of the region of the northeast of the Czech Republic.
Handmade Dreams also counts on the important presence of designs from schools dedicated to work with glass that, with their activity in cities such as Liberec, Jablonec or Železný Brod, carry out a key work in the preservation of this artistic tradition, really valuable for the region’s economy. The event has been organized by Centro Checo, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Spain, the Crystal Museum and the Jewelry of Jablonec nad Nisou and the Czech Foreign Ministry.
