The Spanish Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (ASCRI in its Spanish acronym) and the Israel Advanced Technology Industries (IATI), an organization that groups Israeli high technology and life sciences companies, have signed a collaboration agreement to promote the relations between the Spanish venture capital entities and the most innovative Israeli companies.
The signing took place during the recent business mission organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Spain-Israel, ICEX-Invest in Spain and ASCRI in Israel to know the Israeli innovation ecosystem first-hand and to meet investment funds, innovative companies and Israeli institutions.
During the trip, which took place between June 24 and 27, those participating in the mission held a total of 55 bilateral meetings with different business incubators, companies and organizations, especially focusing on the most active business sectors with a view to looking for investment opportunities.
ASCRI, presided by Miguel Zurita, currently groups 180 partners and its main mission is to develop and promote investment in the capital of non-quoted companies.
