Tomorrow Sunday, from 13 to 18 hours, the Irish community in Madrid celebrates St Patrick’s Day. The party will take place at the same venue last year, the Puerta de Hierro Sports Park. Admission is free.
With the support of the Embassy of Ireland, the celebration is organized by Madrid Harps Youths GAA & Interacting (A Theatre in Education Company). There are activities for children of all ages. The site has 2,500 parking places.
Fun and games for the whole family; gaelic football, hurling matches and training sessions; theater, dramatization games and Irish storytellers; traditional Irish dancers, violinists and musicians; children’s theater made by Interacting, A Theatre in Education Company; face painting; Irish dance workshop; Puca Óg band’s music… on top of the joy and fraternal and extroverted character of the Irish community.
